A life-size in-game prop created for Riot Games MENA’s large-scale influencer campaign. We design and produce physical objects that connect digital worlds to reality.

About this case

For the launch of Valorant in the Middle East and North Africa region, Riot Games MENA wanted more than a traditional marketing campaign. Instead of relying solely on digital advertising, they activated the community through influencer gifting. Fabit designed and produced a life size 3D printed Spike collectible that translated the iconic in game object into a premium physical experience.

The challenge

Riot Games MENA wanted to surround the Valorant launch with authentic community driven content. The strategy was influencer gifting. Leading gaming creators would receive a physical replica of the Spike, the iconic device central to the game.

The collectible needed to stay true to the original in game design while functioning as a premium physical object. It had to include a functional sliding compartment for additional campaign items, be personalized per influencer and remain durable enough for international shipping.

Beyond design and production, Fabit was responsible for full fulfillment. Each unit had to be assembled, personalized, packaged and delivered individually across multiple countries in the MENA region. Timing was critical. Campaign launches leave no room for delay.

Materials

The Spike collectible was produced using high precision 3D printing to recreate the complex mechanical geometry of the in game asset.

Each component was carefully sanded and refined before receiving its final surface finish. Custom detailing and protective coatings ensured durability for handling and filming.

All units were assembled and finished in house in our Belgian production studio to guarantee quality and consistency across the full campaign batch.

From digital asset to physical icon

Translating a complex in game object into a real world collectible requires precision engineering and careful planning.

State selection

After analyzing the different in game states of the Spike, the activated version was selected. This version revealed the most mechanical detail and offered sufficient internal space to integrate a functional drawer.

3D modeling and personalization

The object was fully modeled in 3D, including a functional sliding drawer mechanism. Each unit was personalized with the influencer’s gaming name, integrated directly into the design before production.

Production and fulfillment

All components were 3D printed, assembled and quality checked in Belgium. Fabit handled complete fulfillment, including packaging and individual international shipping across the MENA region.
