Esports trophies
In esports, the trophy becomes part of the legacy of the event. It appears in broadcasts, highlight reels and championship celebrations long after the final has ended. At Fabit, we design and produce custom esports trophies for tournaments, leagues and global finals where visual impact matters.
Esports trophies built for the world stage
An esports trophy is more than a prize. It is a broadcast asset, a brand statement and a lasting symbol of the competition it represents. The design needs to reflect the identity of the game, perform under stage lighting and feel worthy of the achievement it celebrates.
Fabit has designed and produced esports trophies for some of the world’s largest competitions, including ESL Pro League, Blast Premier and PGL Dota 2. With more than 7,500 unique designs created and fully in-house production, we combine game identity, broadcast impact and precision manufacturing to deliver stage-ready trophies for events worldwide.
Engineered for tournaments that demand presence
An esports trophy needs to perform on stage, on camera, and in photographs taken by fans around the world.
We translate the visual language of a game, a franchise, or a tournament brand into a three-dimensional object that feels like a natural extension of the IP.
Every design is developed with lighting, camera angles and scale in mind. We use metal, 3D-printed components and precision finishes engineered to perform under broadcast conditions.
We work to tournament schedules and ship worldwide, handling all packaging, logistics, and customs to get your trophy to the venue on time.

Frequently asked questions
Esports trophy production raises questions that are specific to the competitive gaming world: broadcast requirements, IP considerations, tournament timelines, and what it means to design something that a global audience will see the moment the final match ends.
These questions reflect how seriously the esports industry takes its presentation. Here are the most common questions we receive from tournament organizers and publishers looking to commission an esports trophy that lives up to the event.

What makes a great esports trophy design?
A great esports trophy design does three things simultaneously: it represents the game or tournament brand, it commands attention on a lit stage, and it feels like something worth winning. Those three requirements shape every design decision, from the silhouette and scale to the surface treatment and material choice.
The silhouette is particularly important in esports because the trophy will be photographed and shared extensively on social media. A strong, recognizable outline reads well at any size, from a full-resolution broadcast shot to a compressed thumbnail on a phone screen. Trophy designs that are too busy or too symmetrical tend to disappear at scale.
We have designed trophies for ESL, Blast Premier, and PGL events, and in each case the process started with a deep dive into the visual identity of the tournament or the game. A trophy should look like it belongs to the world it represents, not like a generic award with a logo added to it.
Can you incorporate game-specific visual elements into an esports trophy?
Yes, and this is often where the most interesting design work happens. Game publishers and tournament organizers frequently want the trophy to feel like it emerged from the game world itself, using iconography, color systems, or structural motifs that fans will recognize immediately.
We work from your brand and IP guidelines, translating two-dimensional visual language into three-dimensional form using precision 3D modeling. The result is a trophy that feels authentic to the franchise rather than adjacent to it. This process also ensures that any IP-sensitive elements are handled correctly before production begins.
For publishers developing a trophy for a flagship annual tournament, we can also develop a visual system that evolves year to year while maintaining a recognizable core identity. See how we approach championship trophies more broadly for context on how we structure competitive recognition.
How do you handle production timelines for live tournament events?
Tournament timelines are non-negotiable, which means production planning needs to start early and account for every stage from design approval to venue arrival. We build the logistics schedule backwards from your event date and flag any risk points at the briefing stage.
Because production, finishing, and packaging all happen in-house, we have full visibility and control over the timeline without relying on external suppliers who could introduce delays. For international events, we handle customs documentation and partner with logistics providers experienced in delivering to event venues rather than standard commercial addresses.
If you are planning a major finals event, we recommend beginning the briefing process at least eight to twelve weeks before the event date. For recurring tournaments with an established trophy design, subsequent runs are significantly faster because the design phase is already complete.
What materials work best for esports trophies designed for broadcast?
Broadcast environments are demanding on materials because stage lighting is intense and camera lenses pick up surface details that are invisible to the naked eye from a distance. Metal finishes tend to perform well under broadcast conditions because they reflect light in a controlled, premium way. Polished, brushed, or matte metal all read differently on camera, and we can provide references for how each finish behaves under stage lighting.
3D-printed components allow us to achieve complex geometries that would be difficult or impossible with traditional manufacturing methods, particularly for trophies with organic or game-inspired forms. These components are typically finished with precision surface treatments that match the overall material palette of the design.
We can also test and review finished samples under conditions that approximate your event lighting before the full production run, which gives you confidence in the final result before anything is shipped.
Do you produce gaming trophies for smaller tournaments and regional events?
Yes. While we have worked with global finals events at the scale of ESL and Blast Premier, we also work with regional tournament organizers, game studios running community competitions, and publishers launching new competitive programs. The production process is the same regardless of scale, though the timeline and volume naturally differ.
For smaller events, a single hero trophy for the winner is often the right approach, designed to make the winner’s moment feel significant even if the event itself is building toward something larger. For growing tournament series, we can develop a trophy design that is scalable, allowing future editions to build on the original without requiring a complete redesign.
