A medal is the smallest object on the podium and usually the one that gets kept the longest. 3D printing lets us build depth, texture and open shapes into that small object, instead of pressing a flat disc and hoping the logo carries it. Every medal is engineered in 3D and finished by hand at our own atelier in Antwerp.
Custom 3D printed medals for events that deserve more than a disc
Stamped medals start from a die, so the design has to stay shallow and symmetrical. A 3D printed medal starts from a file, which means the outline can follow your logo, the surface can carry real relief, and separate elements can sit in front of or behind each other. That freedom matters most in the two places medals get judged: on camera at the ceremony, and in someone’s hand a year later. We produce finisher medals, tournament medals, league medals and internal recognition medals, in runs from a handful to several hundred.
Engineered for medals that arrive as a set, not as a sample
Medals are rarely a single object. There is a gold, silver and bronze variant, sometimes a participant version, usually a ribbon, and always a deadline that sits fixed on the event date. We plan for that from the first concept: one design system, several tiers, one production run and one shipment.
We print at a resolution that holds fine relief, then finish by hand so the highlights land where the design intends. Metallic paints, brushed effects and colour fills are applied after printing, which keeps small text and thin lines readable.
Gold, silver, bronze and participant versions are built from the same base geometry, so the set reads as a family. Ribbons, packaging and engraving plates are specified in the same brief instead of sourced separately at the last minute.

Are 3D printed medals as durable as stamped metal medals?
Yes, when the material is chosen for the job. We print in polymers for lightweight, complex shapes and in metal for weight and permanence, and both are finished to survive handling, transport and display. What changes is not durability but design freedom: a printed medal can carry relief, openings and layered elements that a stamping die cannot produce.
What does a custom 3D printed medal cost?
Price is driven by size, material, the number of finishing steps and the quantity. A single flagship medal costs more per piece than a run of two hundred, because design and setup are shared across the run. Send us the quantity, the tiers you need and the event date, and you get a price and a timeline within 24 hours.
Can you produce gold, silver and bronze versions of the same medal?
Yes, and that is the usual request. We build the tiers from one base design so the set stays visually consistent, then differentiate through finish, colour and sometimes material. That approach also keeps the cost per tier down compared with designing three separate medals.
Do you supply ribbons, engraving and packaging?
Yes. Ribbons in your colours, engraved name plates, recipient personalisation and presentation packaging are specified in the same brief and produced or sourced alongside the medals, so everything arrives in one shipment ready to hand out.
How long does a custom medal project take?
A straightforward run takes a few weeks from approved concept to delivery, and complex sets with multiple tiers or metal printing take longer. Because design and production are in the same building, we can work back from a fixed event date and tell you honestly whether it fits.
