Glass awards

Recognition carries more weight when the award itself feels exceptional. At Fabit, every glass award is designed from scratch and produced in-house, built to reflect the achievement it represents and the brand behind it.

Each piece starts with your brief and ends with a finished award that holds its presence on a stage, in a boardroom or behind glass in a headquarters lobby.

Custom glass awards built from scratch

A glass award is one of the few recognition pieces that genuinely ages well. It sits in offices for years, gets photographed at ceremonies and becomes part of how an organization remembers a milestone. That permanence is exactly why it deserves more than a standard design.

At Fabit, every project starts from scratch. We translate your brand, the occasion and the recipient into a detailed 3D design that defines every visible detail, from proportions and engraving placement to how the award catches light on stage. Our awards have been presented at international conferences, corporate recognition programs and industry ceremonies worldwide, for brands including Fortra, GEON and Brennan Industries.

Engineered for recognition programs and live events

Glass awards are used across industries and contexts, from annual corporate milestones to international award shows. Each setting demands a different approach to scale, weight and finishing.

Clarity by design

Glass is selected for how it responds to light, not just how it looks in a catalogue. High-clarity materials are chosen based on the environment where the award will be displayed, whether that is under stage lighting or on an executive desk.

Engraving built into the design

Text, logos and dimensional layers are integrated into the glass from the start of the design process. Sandblasting, deep engraving and layered construction are executed in-house, so every detail reads clearly up close and from a distance.

Produced in-house, end to end

Design, production and finishing happen under one roof, which means full control over every step. From a single executive award to a recurring program with hundreds of pieces, quality stays consistent across every delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Designing a custom glass award often raises questions about materials, engraving options and what the production process actually looks like.

Creating a bespoke recognition piece involves multiple steps, from the first design concept through to finishing and worldwide delivery. Here are the most common questions we receive from brands, corporate teams and event organizers looking to commission custom glass awards.

We design and produce fully custom glass awards across a wide range of formats, from flat engraved plaques and layered recognition pieces to three-dimensional sculptural awards and hybrid constructions that combine glass with metal, wood or acrylic. Every award is developed from scratch based on your brief, without standard molds or catalogue templates.

If you have a concept, a reference image or a general direction, our design team translates it into a production-ready 3D model for your review before anything is manufactured. This ensures the final piece matches what you envisioned before a single material is touched.

Yes. Glass is one of the most effective materials for recurring programs precisely because it scales without losing its premium feel. We have produced glass awards for annual employee milestones, leadership recognition cycles and partner programs where consistency across editions matters as much as the quality of the individual piece.

For recurring programs, we retain design files and production specifications so that reorders stay true to the original design. This is particularly relevant for companies running structured employee recognition programs across departments or international locations.

Whether the program involves ten pieces for a leadership ceremony or several hundred for a global rollout, production is structured so that every award in the series feels equally considered.

Personalization goes beyond adding a name to a finished product. At Fabit, engraving placement, depth and technique are defined during the design phase so that text, logos and other details become part of the award structure rather than surface additions.

Sandblasting creates a frosted, diffused finish on engraved areas. Deep engraving adds physical depth that reads clearly from a distance, which matters in ceremony and stage settings. For detailed logos or complex typography, we use precision techniques that maintain sharp edges and consistent depth across every piece in a production run.

For more on how surface treatments are applied across different materials, see our finishes page

We work with high-clarity optical glass and crystal-grade materials selected based on visual depth, weight and how the award will be used. For pieces intended for long-term display in executive environments, we prioritize materials with minimal distortion and a strong response to ambient light. For awards that will be handled during ceremonies, structural weight and balance are considered from the earliest design stage.

Glass is also commonly combined with other materials. Metal bases, acrylic layers and wooden components can all be integrated into a single cohesive construction, evaluated from both a visual and structural standpoint before production begins.

For a full overview of material options, visit our glass and crystal materials page.

Most custom glass award projects are completed within four to six weeks from design approval, depending on complexity, quantity and finishing requirements. Rush timelines can be discussed during the briefing phase and confirmed before work begins.

If you are working toward a fixed event date, share that from the start. We structure the entire process around your deadline, from the first design concept through to packaging and shipping. For international deliveries, we coordinate logistics directly and ensure awards arrive on time and in perfect condition.
