Seventeen personalised dealer recognition awards, produced for Audi’s Magna Elite Winners programme.

About this case

For Audi, Fabit designed and produced a series of bespoke dealer recognition awards for the Magna Elite Winners programme. These precisely engineered trophies translate Audi’s exacting brand standards into physical form.

Each piece features the distinctive honeycomb relief on an elongated body, finished in Audi’s signature Progressive Red. The Audi Type Extended typeface is reproduced with exact fidelity and personalised with each winning dealership’s name, making every award individually distinct while remaining part of a visually coherent set.

The result is an award with presence, whether displayed in a showroom or placed on a boardroom shelf. Substantial in the hand and considered in every detail.

The challenge

Audi required a recognition award that could carry individual dealership names while maintaining exact typographic and chromatic consistency across the full series.

The brief demanded precise adherence to Audi’s brand typography and colour system, combined with a redesigned form that merged the proportions of an earlier trophy with a honeycomb design concept. The challenge was to deliver consistency at scale, with no visual deviation between individual units.

Materials

Each trophy is precision manufactured using additive manufacturing. This makes it possible to achieve the honeycomb relief and elongated geometry, which would be difficult to realise with traditional casting.

The surface receives a full metallic red spray coating, mixed to Audi’s exact brand specification. The base is finished with UV printed dealership lettering in Audi Type Extended. All lettering is manually reviewed before final assembly to ensure typographic precision across every unit.

The weight and material composition are carefully calibrated to feel substantial in the hand, reflecting the significance of the recognition.

Brand driven design

The brief demanded strict adherence to Audi’s visual language, including the brand red, Audi Type Extended and the honeycomb motif. Multiple briefing rounds refined the balance between the elongated form and the textural relief.

The final design merges the preferred silhouette with the honeycomb surface, creating an award that feels both contemporary and unmistakably aligned with Audi’s brand identity.

Precision manufacturing

The honeycomb relief and elongated geometry are realised through additive manufacturing. This process delivers structural consistency across the full series, with no deviation in surface geometry between pieces.

Each dealership name is integrated into the award without compromising the overall structure or visual balance of the object.

Hand finished excellence

Each award receives a full metallic red spray coating, applied by hand to Audi’s brand specification. The UV printed base is aligned and bonded with precise positioning.

Before dispatch, every unit is individually reviewed for typeface accuracy, colour consistency and surface quality. This ensures that each piece meets the standard expected from the Audi brand.
