These props are fully non-functional limited editions, purely created for display and entertainment purposes.

For Riot Games EMEA, Fabit produced a set of 11 physical Classic pistol props for the VALORANT Champions Tour EMEA: one for each partner team competing in the league.

Eleven hand-painted physical replicas of the Valorant Classic, one for every VCT EMEA partner team, each finished in its own colour palette and produced within one month. The full set was used on the analyst desk during VCT EMEA broadcasts throughout the season.

About this case

The Classic is the default sidearm in Valorant, and the weapon at the centre of the VCT Team Capsule system. Every season, each partner team releases their own Classic skin as part of their capsule, and those designs have become one of the most recognisable visual expressions of competitive Valorant. Riot Games EMEA approached Fabit to bring those skins into the physical world, after VCT Americas had already produced a similar set. The brief was clear: match that quality standard and do it for all 11 EMEA teams.

The props were used as display objects during broadcast: placed on the analyst desk during pre- and post-match segments throughout the VCT EMEA season.

The challenge

Eleven teams with eleven distinct colour palettes. One weapon form, reproduced consistently across the full series.

The in-game Classic skin designs came directly from Riot: Fabit’s job was to translate them into physical objects that would hold up under broadcast lighting and close camera scrutiny. That set a high bar, because the Valorant community knows these skins in detail. Any deviation in colour, proportion or finish would be visible immediately to anyone watching.

The weapon form itself is complex: angular surfaces, sharp transitions, raised graphic elements, fine surface detailing. All of it had to be present in the physical version, with no simplification of the geometry. At the same time, each prop required its own colour treatment (a matte metallic gun-metal body, primary coloured detail elements in each team’s palette, and secondary accent colours) with clean separation between all three layers across every single piece.

Before full production started, Fabit ran an extensive prototyping phase to validate the geometry, the finishing approach and the colour matching process. Only once that was locked did the series go into production.

Materials

Each prop was precision-manufactured using additive manufacturing, reproducing the Classic’s geometry and surface details with the accuracy needed for the painting process to work correctly.

The main body was finished in a matte metallic gun-metal, a hard requirement from the brief, and the finish that gives the object its cold, premium character under studio lighting. The coloured detail elements were hand-painted in custom RAL metallic tones matched to each team’s identity. Secondary accent colours followed the same process. Every colour layer was applied separately, assessed, and refined before the next was started.

Team logo and graphic elements were applied via UV printing where full-colour precision was required. Final assembly brought all components together, with each prop checked against the team’s in-game skin as reference before it left the studio.

The full series of 11 props was produced and delivered within one month.

From team skin to broadcast prop

Starting from the source

The Classic skin designs were provided by Riot Games. Fabit’s role was to engineer and produce the physical translation of those designs, not to interpret them. That meant the design process was primarily a manufacturing challenge: how to reproduce the geometry faithfully, how to achieve the correct finishes, and how to maintain consistency across 11 different colour treatments simultaneously.

Prototyping first

Before a single production piece was started, Fabit ran an extensive prototyping phase. Geometry, finish quality, colour matching and assembly were all validated before the series went into production. That investment in the prototype phase is what made it possible to deliver 11 correctly finished props in a single month.
