For URBSFA-KBVB, Fabit designed and produced the official international cap awards for Belgium’s senior national football teams, the Red Devils and Red Flames.
The award system needed to recognise a player’s journey through successive international appearances while maintaining a consistent visual identity across every milestone. The challenge was to create a scalable recognition program that reflected both the prestige of representing Belgium and the significance of long-term achievement on the international stage.
The result is a tiered series of awards built around a simple geometric form inspired by the colours of the Belgian flag. Black, yellow, and red mark the early milestones, while silver and gold finishes distinguish higher levels of achievement. At the highest tiers, transparent and full-metal awards celebrate the most significant international careers. Together, the series creates a visual progression that transforms each cap milestone into a lasting symbol of contribution to Belgian football.
