The official championship trophy and medal collection for the Thunderpick World Championship 2025, presented in Malta and designed around the evolving identity of the tournament.

For Thunderpick, Fabit designed and produced the championship trophy and accompanying medal set for the 2025 World Championship. Building on the foundation established by the previous edition, the project introduced a refined design that integrates key brand elements directly into the structure of the award.

The trophy features the Thunderpick bolt in its brand-compliant orientation while incorporating the TWC event logo as part of the form itself rather than as a surface-applied element. Finished entirely in gold, the design reinforces the prestige and significance of the championship while creating a stronger connection between the award and the tournament identity.

Accompanied by a matching set of medals and a custom flight case, the completed collection was delivered to Malta for the championship event. Together, these elements create a cohesive award package that recognises achievement at the highest level of esports competition while strengthening the visual legacy of the Thunderpick World Championship.

De uitdaging

The Thunderpick World Championship trophy required an evolution of the previous edition while preserving the recognisable identity of the tournament. The objective was to create a piece with greater visual presence while ensuring that key brand elements became an integral part of the design itself.

Integrating both the Thunderpick bolt and the TWC event logo into the structure of the trophy demanded careful refinement of form, proportion, and presentation. At the same time, the accompanying medal set needed to reflect the same quality standards and visual language, creating consistency across the complete championship collection.

Materialen

The trophy is produced using additive manufacturing, enabling the integration of complex brand geometry directly into the structure of the award while maintaining the scale and definition required for championship presentation.

A metallic gold finish is applied across the trophy and medal collection, creating a unified appearance throughout the complete set. The accompanying flight case features a custom protective insert designed specifically for the championship collection, supporting secure transportation and presentation.

Together, these elements create an award package that balances recognition, durability, and visual impact while reinforcing the identity of the Thunderpick World Championship.
