Business CTF Trophy 2022

A custom esports trophy featuring a sculpted dragon, metallic steel-look finish, and integrated event branding.

The Business CTF Trophy required a design that could embody the scale, energy, and imagination associated with competitive gaming.

The challenge was to create an award with strong sculptural character while maintaining the quality and finish expected of a premium recognition piece. Every element needed to contribute to a trophy that felt distinctive, collectible, and worthy of the competition’s champions.

Materialen

The trophy is defined by its sculpted dragon and textured rock base, creating a composition rich in movement and visual depth. A metallic steel-look finish enhances the form, giving the object a refined appearance while emphasizing its sculptural detail.

A full-colour UV-printed metal plate is integrated into the base, providing clear event branding and creating a connection between the artistic form and the competition it represents.

For the Business CTF 2022, Fabit designed and produced a custom trophy centered around a sculpted dragon, creating a recognition object that captures the competitive spirit and visual culture of gaming.

The trophy needed to move beyond the conventions of traditional award design. The challenge was to create an object with a strong visual identity and a sense of presence worthy of a high-profile esports competition, while translating the event’s character into a memorable physical form.

The result is a fully sculpted dragon positioned on a textured rock base and finished in a metallic steel-look coating. Event branding is integrated through a full-colour UV-printed metal plate, creating a balance between sculptural expression and clear competition identity. The combination of dynamic form, premium finishing, and detailed craftsmanship transforms the trophy into a centrepiece rather than a conventional award.
