The Transparent Kastaars needed to communicate its significance as a lifetime achievement award while maintaining continuity with the established Kastaars identity.

Material choice became the defining challenge. The award needed to feel categorically different from the mirror chrome gold edition without altering the silhouette that audiences instantly recognise. Achieving exceptional optical clarity and surface quality was essential, ensuring the trophy delivered the visual impact expected of one of the ceremony’s highest honours.

The award is produced in an ultra-transparent material selected for its clarity, depth, and visual purity.

For the Kastaars, Fabit produced the Transparent Kastaars 2025, a special lifetime achievement award created for one of Belgium’s most recognised television and media ceremonies.

While preserving the iconic silhouette that defines the Kastaars, this edition introduces a completely different material expression. Designed to honour exceptional careers and lasting contributions to the industry, the award needed to stand apart from the standard series while remaining unmistakably connected to the Kastaars identity.
